How to uninstall the Valorant skin changer — and Valorant itself
The changer is a single install folder plus one uninstall registry key. Removing the game is a two-step pass because Riot Vanguard runs as a kernel service.
Remove the skin changer
- Quit the tool from the system tray if it is running.
- Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps and find "No-VP Skin Changer".
- Click Uninstall and confirm the prompt.
- Delete the install folder if any files remain — default is
C:\Program Files\NSC.
The changer never modifies the Riot client. Account inventory and VP balance remain untouched.
How to uninstall Valorant on Windows
Two separate uninstall passes are required because Riot Vanguard installs as a kernel service. Skipping the Vanguard pass is the most common reason the driver is still loaded after a Valorant removal.
- Uninstall Valorant via Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Valorant → Uninstall.
- Uninstall Riot Vanguard separately from the same Installed apps list.
- Reboot Windows so the Vanguard driver releases from memory.
- Delete leftovers at
C:\ProgramData\Riot Gamesif you want a fully clean state.
What stays behind
- Riot Client may remain if you have other Riot games installed.
- Local recordings and screenshots in your user folder are untouched.
- Cloud-side account data — including any skin you own — is unaffected.
